MY SDR SETUP
This is what I use the most when browsing various bands.
SDRplay RSPduo = With 3 antenna's connected.
HIGH Z Port = Wire antenna in loft
TUNER 1 = Cross Country Wireless HF Active Loop Antenna v4 (Outside)
TUNER 2 = Diamond D-130J Discone Antenna (Outside)
NOAA AND METEOR M2 WEATHER SATELLITE IMAGES
This system is left on all the time to download and process images from NOAA and Meteor M2 satellites. If you want to setup a system to do this I have created a step-by-step guide on YouTube click here. There is also now a dedicated page on this website that explains more about the NOAA and Meteor satellites and the equipment I use to obtain the images.
GENERAL SCANNING
Yupiteru MVT-7100 = Had this from new when they first came out, one of the best fully banded handhelds that you can buy in my opinion.
Yaesu FRG-8800 = This a a good radio for HF and before I got into SDR I used to use this all the time. Mine has the additional 2m module also.
2M AND 70CM
It's not very often I go talking on 2m or 70cm, I tend to listen more !
Radio = Icom HC207
Hand Held Radio = Baofeng UV-5RH (Great handheld for 2m, 70cm, Air Band and PMR)
